  Instead of criticizing him for distributing aid in cash and kind, presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao on Monday urged his rivals to share their wealth to poor Filipinos who are mired in poverty because of corruption in government. Pacquiao started an "ayuda challenge" because he said politicians seemed to notice their constitutents only during the election season. " Ipamahagi naman nila kahit kaunti ang kanilang mga kayamanan. Maganda siguro magkaroon tayo ng  ayuda challenge  para sa lahat tumatakbo para makinabang naman ang mga Pilipino ,” he said in a statement. Pacquiao has been accused of vote buying, but the senator said he had been doing it since his boxing heyday, long before he became a politician.
